Dolphin Safaris
|
The cruise can pick you up from your resort jetty, just bring your swimwear, snorkelling gear and sunscreen and enjoy the 'experience'. The luxury catamaran 'Take a break' has plenty of room for between 6 and 28 passengers and this very stable vessel is easy to board from the jetty and also from the water via the stern ladder. People of all ages and sizes have enjoyed our Dolphin Safaris. As we leave the jetty, if the weather permits the sail is raised and 'Take a break' sails easily through the water the various locations the dolphins frequent. Our guests can relax on the foredeck seating areas and get up close to the dolphins as they dodge, weave and jump in the two bow waves of 'Take a break'. Our viewing area is so large that EVERYONE will get a clear view and its easy to take pictures and movies. Bring your camera and especially your waterproof camera if you have one as you will soon be taking postcard pictures to send to friends back home. You can book using the link below of via the Plantation Island Resort or Musket Cove Island Resort boat sheds. We then cruise to one of our favourite snorkelling areas on the Malolo Barrier reef, where we stop and give our guests a chance to get up close to the reef marine life. Our experienced crew are always ready to assist you and provide you with some local knowledge on what to look for while snorkelling on the reef. If you prefer you can stay aboard and enjoy a cool beverage or a nice cup of tea or coffee while you take in the panoramic vistas around this beautiful island group. This is the area of the famous surf breaks in Fiji. We offer a second snorkelling stop on a pinnacle that has thousands of tiny reef fish. Guests say its like swimming in a fishbowl. These two reefs have some of the best snorkelling in this local area. The vessel has an onboard toilet for your comfort and is equipped with an in the water ladder which makes reboarding Take a break easy. So much so many of our guest who are young at heart are often seen diving and somersaulting from the deck. These snorkelling sites can be accessed by either the catamaran 'Take a break' or the motor launches 'Anthony Star' or 'Dolphin Star' on a charter basis for your group. |
