Mix and Mingle - Day Cruises

If you are planning on a wedding ceremony in Fiji we have a fantastic way for your guests (or family and friends) to mingle and to get to know each other before the big day. Any of the day or half day charter cruises, sunset cruise or coffee cruises are suitable for this activity.

Depending on the number of guests it can be “Take a break” for up to 28 guests or Dolphin Star for up to 10 guests.

Buck Cruises

The boys need to have a final bonding session. Choose from the mix of activities available. A popular option is a fishing combo trip with a few hours fishing and then a stop at some of the resorts on the way back in for a few bevies or you can bring your own.

A typical afternoon trip would be to leave about 12 noon with a picnic lunch and some beers and head out fishing for a couple of hours then return back through the western pass to have a stop off at Malolo Island Resort for some drinks, then depending on the time frame another stop at Walu beach Resort or Funky Fish Resort or both arriving back at Musket cove Marina about 6pm for a stop at the Island Bar for more drinks.

You can choose to have a stag night BBQ at the island bar or book a dinner at one of the Restaurants on Malolo Lailai Island. For those from other resorts after fishing you can come in through the eastern pass and stop off at Musket Cove Resort for some drinks and head back past Funky Fish resort and Walu Beach for further stops with a dinner at your own resort for the evening.
The best boat for this is Dolphin Star or for bigger groups charter both Dolphin Star and Anthony Star. This can accommodate 19 guests in total.

The larger groups can use Take a break.
You can suggest what you would like to do and we can usually accommodate your wishes.

Another idea is a sporting challenge using the merlin yachts for a yacht race, along with a round of golf and even a kayak or swimming race. This would be based at either Musket Cove Resort or Plantation Island Resort. Start the day with a round of golf, then adjourn for lunch followed by an afternoon of yacht racing with other activities if time allows.

Hens Cruise

The girls also need a final girly day.
There are two popular options or you can advise what you would like to do and we will try to make it happen for you.
Book the afternoon at the SPA at your resort for your group then complete the day with a sunset cruise followed by a special dinner at your resort.
Or you can take the “take a break” out for a special cruise where you can relax, sunbath and chat. Take a picnic lunch and some nice wines and be back in time for a tidy up before a special dinner at your resort

Sunset Cruise

The sunset cruise has proven popular as an alternative meet and greet for all the guests on a day before the wedding or as part of the wedding day after the ceremony for photos and drinks before the wedding dinner. It is also a nice idea as a thank you after the wedding to all the guests who have chosen to make the trip to help you celebrate your special day.
